Nordic Walking route that runs past the front of our hotel. The nearby
Sciliar Natural Park gives guests the opportunity of experiencing mountain life first hand.
The magnificent
Völs Lake is considered by Legambiente (Italian League for the environment) to be one of the cleanest and most beautiful lakes for bathing in Italy. The lake is just a 40-minute walk away from our hotel. On hot summer days, the Völs Lake offers a refreshing dip thanks to the temperature of its water that is around 22°. Oarsmen and women will be able to practice their favourite sport. There is even a small artificial lake in the Natural Park that is just an easy, 20-minute walk from the hotel.
Those who love
cultural treasures can visit the many churches, chapels and fortresses that are scattered in the vicinity of Ums/Völs am Schlern: the small, romantic church near our hotel often hosts wedding ceremonies.
The renaissance
Castle of Presule is a real jewel that you just cannot miss if you are holidaying at Völs. The knights’ chamber and the fireplace room can be visited during guided tours.

handy bus service to and from Völs am Schlern and Siusi gives you the opportunity of going on lots of outings in the vicinity and beyond during your holiday at Völs. There is a bus stop right in front of our hotel. A car-free holiday is definitely a more relaxing one!
