During your summer holidays in Ums at Völs allo Sciliar you can take your pick from easy walks, demanding mountain hikes or Nordic Walking tracks. If you prefer to go mountain biking or jogging, you will find the right trail for you in this idyllic plateau. Regardless of your personal choice, there are many ways to enjoy your spare time near our hotel.
Or would you prefer to fly? At the Seiser Alm, a unique paragliding adventure is waiting to offer you a breathtaking view. You will spend the day with an expert paraglider and enjoy a bird's eye view of the superb mountains of the Dolomites.
During the summer, peaceful surroundings, relaxation and a dip in the pool are all at hand in our swimming pool or in the Völs lake. The unbearable heat of the valley becomes pleasant and enjoyable up here.

The Castle of Presule is waiting for you with its Knights’ chamber, concerts and exhibitions. The many churches and chapels neighbouring Ums/Völs am Schlern are also just waiting to be discovered.
Wine lovers will be able to participate in a wine tasting event at the Gumphof and Bessererhof farms. You will learn how to recognise the typical wines of South Tyrol and find out everything you want to know about the production of wine, first hand.
The Mineral Museum of Tiso, with its famous, round, Tiso stones and the Villandro mine will take you on a journey into the world of rocks and minerals. Both can be reached by bus or car.
The historical towns of Bozen and Brixen also deserve a visit on a rainy day: the Xmas markets, visits to the museums in the summer or shopping along the porticoed streets all make an outing to these towns really worth your while!
